Former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell wants to be London Mayor for Conservatives 

Former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell is interested in standing to be next Mayor of London.  Campbell  has become very vocal about politics since his retired from football, he won 73 caps for England during an 11-year international career, met Conservative party Chairman Grant Shapps for lunch in central London in December, during which he reportedly discussed joining the party with the aim of of being a candidate in the 2020 general election….
