Mr Ekwow Spio Garbrah urged Govt officials to promote investment potential in Ghana
Ghana’s Minister of Trade and Industry Mr Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, has urged government officials and private citizens who travel outside the country to make use of their visits to encourage investment opportunities in Ghana.
Dr. Spio- Gabrah made this call when the Spanish Ambassador to Ghana, Madam Maria F. Alonso, called on him in his office.
He said Ghana and Spain have had many trading businesses over many decades and bilateral trade had seen an increase in trade benefits to Spain
“We need to reverse this trend” the Minister said adding that ‘As a country, we cannot have a programme to reduce imports from Spain, what we are doing is to launch a campaign to promote goods and services produced in Ghana, especially for exports”….
