2020 Ghana Party In The Park UK Cancelled

Most thrilling and widely annual Ghanaian festival celebration in the UK dubbed Ghana party in the park has been called off due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The announcement was officially made on various social media platforms by the event organisers Akwaaba Group.

This year’s edition of Ghana Party in the Park was scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Trent Park, London.

The 2020 edition will no longer take place, since the world is battling with the deadly virus and observing social distancing which is one of the ways to avoid the spread of the virus in order to keep everybody safe and healthy.

Akwaaba UK also expressed their deep regrets to the inconveniences the decision may have caused and assured the public.

They’re working greatly to bring to the public a better and bigger celebration of the Ghanaian arts and cultural festival for the next season in 2021.

Hence those who had bought their ticket already would be sorted out via emails.

All businesspersons who planned to engage in the programme have also been encourage to reschedule for next year’s edition.

Ghana party in the park is one of the various events organised by the Akwaaba group.

This is a program celebrated since 2005 in the UK to showcase the Ghanaian culture through the exhibition of Ghanaian products, fashion, food, local drinks, music and dance.

It is a huge event which attracts thousands of people internationally including, celebrities, chiefs, the young and the old.

The day also serves as business opportunity for traders, models, fashionistas, creative industries, brand ambassadors, entrepreneurs, bloggers, and many more who are mostly Africans based in the U.K or other nationals from across the world.
