Nunu Ntshingila Appointed Director Of Facebook Africa

Facebook opens first Africa office in Johannesburg, South Africa as part of its efforts “to help people and businesses connect” Ogilvy veteran Nunu Ntshingila, has been appointed as the Head of  Facebook Africa.  Over 1 billion people in Africa use social network…. 

In a statement, Nicola Mendelsohn, Facebook’s vice president for EMEA said ‘It is with great excitement to share that today we opened our first sales office in Africa. We have also brought on a force of nature to lead our team in Africa, Nunu Ntshingila, our new Head of Africa. Nunu is incredibly passionate about the role of technology to foster greater social inclusion for the development of the African continent. I know I speak on behalf of our entire Facebook family when I say how incredibly grateful we are that she will lead us through this next chapter of our investment and growth in Africa.
