History Makers: Identical twin sisters both become judges

Just in Case You Missed It! Birmingham judge, Shanta Grant swears in her identical twin sister Shera Owens as a judge. Their proud mother said the reason for their accomplishment  is “You challenge them to go beyond what they might think they can accomplish.” Shanta Grant has been a judge for 7 years….

Both Shanta Owens and Shera Grant  graduated from same University and law school. They both have 6-year-old girls who were born just 4 months apart, their sons are both 3 years old and also born 4 months apart…

 Huge congrats to both sisters and the proud parents!  Such an inspiration!
