African Celebrities who give back – Asamoah Gyan
Ghanaian professional footballer Asamoah Gyan will be in Hohoe from 29th to 31st May, as part of ‘social intervention program of a major water system for free water for St Francis Training College’.
Asamoah Gyan Foundation’s latest venture is in honour of Asamoah Gyan’s late mother. His mother was a student at St Francis Training College.

To show appreciation for Gyan’s contributions ”The people of Gbui traditional council appreciate this and Asamoah Gyan’s outstanding leadership and exemplary contribution to Ghana’s socio-economic development and have decided to honor him by enstooling him as a Chief during a three-day celebration in Hohoe from 29th May, 2019.”
