President Akufo-Addo took to social media, a picture of both of them with well wishes to his wife.
Vice president of Ghana, Bawumia and wife including other government officials and the public, blessed her with heart-warming birthday wishes as well.
Today, we have decided to celebrate the first lady of Ghana who was born, Rebecca Naa Okaikor in 1951, is a Ghanaian from a German descent, because of her mother’s background.

Her father was also into politics and known for serving as a speaker of parliament during Dr Hilla Limann’s tenure of office in the Ghanaian political history.
Mama Rebecca is also known as a philanthropist through her foundations and various project carried out by her foundations.
Some of the foundations established by the first lady includes, Infant Malaria Prevention that seeks to help reduce malaria in infant and young children, the Rebecca Akufo-Addo Foundation.
The Foundation carries out projects like, supporting female education and children by providing skills training for young females and building libraries to instil the culture of learning in children.
