Adoma’s Year of Return 2019 – 16th November 2019

This year marks 8yrs since the loss of Akua Adoma Ofori who passed away July 24, 2011, in Pennsylvania, US after a prolonged but brave battle with brain cancer.

In memory of her death and to celebrate her passion for life, the marking of her 8th anniversary of passing will be with a fashion show come November 16, 2019.

This show is to raise funds for medical assistance to be given to individuals, especially children in need of critical health attention in Ghana.

Venue for the occasion which is themed Adoma’s Year of Return will be the Progress Fire Hall located at 3440 Maple street in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, zipcode 17109.

Join the effort to raise funds with Adoma in mind and to return to Ghana with the proceeds to assist needy and sick children.

This is giving back in this special year or return.

Renowned Ghanaian fashion designer Sally Torpey will be at hand to display some clothes from her latest collection.

In addtion to the above there will also be a talk on brain tumor, it’s early detection, and treatment.

Yes, there will also be lots and lots of good food like the popular Ghana jollof rice and plenty of networking opportunities.

Juliana Oates; mother of the late Adoma, will be on the bill as a special guest to share exciting stories about beloved Adoma.
