FIFA officials arrested on corruption charges: Swiss authorities have conducted an early-morning operation today to arrest several top FIFA officials. It is believed they are to be extradited to the United States…..in a $150 million corruption scandal that’s turned the football world upside down…
According to reports Blatter isn’t among those arrested….Swiss prosecutors are also believed to be conducting a separate investigation into the bidding process for the in 2018 in Russia and 2022 in Qatar World Cup tournaments….
