DACA Dreamers: Trump Ending Immigration Program DACA

Is ‘The American Dream’ coming to an end?

Daca Dreamers: Trump to end DACA which currently protects 800,000 immigrants

“I am here today to announce that the program known as DACA that was effectuated under the Obama administration is being rescinded,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions

”Barack knows the American Dream because he’s lived it – and he wants everyone in this country to have that same opportunity, no matter who we are, or where we’re from, or what we look like, or who we love.” Michelle Obama

According to reports, 800,000 undocumented/illegal immigrants have received protections throught DACA since 2012.

President Trump has given Congress until March 5 to pass legislation to replace DACA ((Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals). It is also believed that the government will no longer accept new applications from undocumented/illegal immigrants. Meaning all the 800,000 young undocumented/illegal immigrants brought to America as children who are currently protected under DACA ‘ (Referred to as Dreamers’) might all face deportation.
