Ghana: Kakum National Park In Central Region

Kakum National Park located in central region, Cape Coast, stretches about 360 square km. It was originally sold as hardwood timber concessions for export by the colonial master…before it was turned into a national reserve. It was opened as a nation park in 1990

The following animals live in some parts of the forest: Forest Elephants, Bongos, six species of monkeys, 300 species of birds, 600 butterflies, 100 amphibians and reptiles #Ghana  #NatureReserve  #Kakum #Trees
