According multiple media outlets, Sandra Parks, an 8th grader aged just 13 she participated in the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr writing contest and won wrote an award winning essay about the violence that plagues many Milwaukee Neighborhoods ”The topic of her essay was gun violence”
Sandra Parks was sadly shot and killed senselessly by a stray bullet, in her own bedroom on Monday.
“In the city in which I live, I hear and see examples of chaos almost every day. Little children are victims of senseless gun violence,.. “Many people have lost faith in America and its ability to be a living example of Dr. King’s dream!” Sandra Parks
Terrible Tragedy! All Sandra wanted is a world that was like a dream land for everyone to live in especially little children.
It is believed people have been charged in the senseless shooting and death of 13-year-old Sandra Parks.
