Entrepreneur, actress, TV presenter and Akosua Dentaa Amoateng MBE is a year older today. Join us un wishing this talented lady and awesome birthday!
The award-winning media personality has been in the game since 1995 and still counting. She began her acting career at a younger age when she used to perform plays and talent shows.
Officially, she came into the limelight somewhere in 1995 when she starred in British TV series like EastEnders, Run Baby Run, Prime Suspect, Holby City and Judge John Deed.
Dentaa in 2005 began her singing career where she released a gospel album dubbed, “Wo Ye Nyame” which sold massively around the world and gained airplay on radio stations in Ghana.
She also produced and hosted a TV show known as the Dentaa Show in 2006 for three consecutive seasons. Other shows she has co-hosted on include, miss Ghana UK,2007, TV3 Mentor and Ghana Music Award, 2009.
In 2010, she was the presenter for Ghana’s premier make-over show, Darling Beauty Diaries.

Dentaa has also made incredible achievements aside her usual profession.
She is the founder and CEO of Ghana UK Base Achievement (GUBA)awards, established in 2009 which is organised annually in Britain.
In 2013, she earned the award for the African women in Europe (AWE) for her recognition as the icon and role model to black women living in Europe.
She was awarded an MBE during her majesty queen Elizabeth II’s birthday honours in 2016.
Then in 2017 she won the Ghana Peace Awards Humanitarian Service Laureate in Accra, Ghana and was regarded as part of the 100 most Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs for her promotion for the Ghanaian community in the UK by the African Network of Entrepreneurs.

She is also a fan of football and has supported some professional footballers in their rise.
She has managed the likes of Ghanaian striker, Asamoah Gyan and played an influential role in helping the Ghana national team, the Black Stars.
