Harry Joins Silicon Valley Startup As Senior Executive

Prince harry has joined the $1bn Silicon Valley startup as senior executive.

The Duke of Sussex Prince Harry, has been offered a new role as the Chief Impact Officer at BetterUp Inc., an online firm that seeks to coach individuals and help with mental health problems.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, are indeed embracing great business opportunities following their decision in early January, 2020.

This comes after the couple officially relinquished working for the royal family to focus on exploring various business ideas in order to be financially independent, as well as helping humanity through charitable organizations.

The good news was first announced by the Prince himself in a publicised email dialogue indicating that he had always wanted to help contribute in people’s development.

He further explained that when people are open to active preparations and advice, it builds them up, creates self-consciousness which in the long run helps them leave a better life.

Prince Harry confirmed that the online coaching platform has been very effective with the valuable advice given by their coaches because he personally uses the app and has experienced awesome moments with the counsellors he was assigned with.

He urged people to make it a priority to seek mental health in the quest of personal development since, the society in which we find ourselves comes with different strings that obviously drains us mentally.

 

Chief executive officer of the company, Alexi Robichaux confirmed Harry’s new deal in a public post. 

He referred to the Prince as a mental health advocate who has vowed to contribute in bringing out the best in people by meet their diverse needs through mental health programmes. Therefore, he’s the right person to occupy the current position.

 

Details about his remuneration was not revealed by the CEO but Prince Harry will be responsible for bringing on board ideas including product strategy decisions and charitable contributions as well as creating awareness on mental health issues through public campaigns.

Prince Harry will work at the company’s headquarters in San Francisco.

He is expected to attend all-hands meetings and be a special guest at events organised by the company.

The CEO added that the company has made preparations in guiding the Prince in the area of tech since he’s currently having no background in it.

 

This comes few weeks ago after Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s  interview with Oprah Winfrey on CBS.

Kudos to the Prince Harry on his newly appointed position as tech start-up executive at BetterUp Inc.
