Breathtaking photos emerge from the surface of a Comet! For an uncountable number of years people have seen comets fly to and across the sky in awe as the magical, bright objects suddenly appear in the sky with long, awesome tails.
Now the Rosetta mission has provided a close-up perspective, a never seen before view of a Comet.
The spacecraft’s images of Comet 67P/Guryumov-Gerasimenko’s surface show a rugged environment, covered with sharp edged rock and pointy cliffs. Now its Philae Lander has snapped the first-ever photos from the surface of a comet!!
Simply Incredible!!!
