International Artist WondaBoy Returns With A New Radio Single & Music Video

Washington, DC – International Afrobeat Star Wondaboy, is back with a dynamic new radio single & music video for, “Felicia.” The catchy and melodic laid back flow of the track falls perfectly in line with Wondaboy’s style and fits perfectly with the mode and trend of the current Afrobeat sound.
“Felicia,” which was written by Wondaboy and produced by Skelly, is the first single from his upcoming EP which is scheduled for release later this year by LNB Entertainment. “Felicia” is currently available on all digital outlets.
Best known for his 2013 radio smash, “Before Then,” which features BET Award winning Ghananian superstar & rapper Sarkodie, this is sure to set a stage for a major come back for the 2017 MTV Based certified “One To Watch” artist. Wondaboy is scheduled to drop three additional singles before releasing his EP later this year. The project promises to be a great mix of traditional and contemporary Afrobeat and Afrosoul music.
If you are curious to know who exactly Wondaboy is, he is far from a novice to Nigeria’s Music Industry. In 2008, he and his former band, The Diamondz, were crowned the winners of the prestigious Star Quest Singing Competition which officially began his professional music career. In 2012, Wondaboy embarked on a solo career as a singer/songwriter/producer, and was signed to LNB Entertainment. He was handpicked for international branding and promotion which resulted in a major and exciting career renovation. His hit record “BEFORE THEN,” became a massive success on international radio & television. The video took over air waves all over the US, UK & Africa with rotation on BET 106 & Park (International) & MTV Base and many other platforms. Though released in 2013, “BEFORE THEN” continues to enjoy consistent radio, night club and air play WORLDWIDE making it a major musical success for the artist. Destined for stardom, Wondaboy continues to perform on stages in Africa and the US as his brand becomes more prominent and significant in the African Music sphere.
After an incredible tour in the states last year including his exceptional appearance on the Tidal sponsored “Miss Lauryn Hill Diaspora Calling Concert” in New York, the sold-out All Access Concert at The Echo Stage in the nation’s capitol and headlining the Washington DC Mayor’s Office For African Affairs 10th Anniversary Concert, Wondaboy is geared up for yet another tour this summer. Dubbed “The Afro-Sensation” Tour, it is set to begin in July and continue through the Fall of 2017 promoting the new single and other tracks from the upcoming EP. During his time away from the stage, Wondaboy established a hot new sound with live instrumentation and recreated the direction of his music. Still a killer falsetto artist, he is determined to bring even more entertainment value to the table for his fans worldwide.
The music video for the hit song “FELICIA” is a colorful homage to the beauty of African women and their dance moves. It was shot and directed by Lenx in Lagos, Nigeria and will most certainly make a mark in the ever growing and expanding African Music Scene.
