Meek Mill Finds Missing Phone – Ghana News
American rapper Meek Mill who performed live on December 29, 2022, at Afronation, announced that he had lost his phone as he entered the festival grounds.
Meek Mill posted a story on Instagram on December 30, 2022, to alert his followers about his missing phone.
Upon hearing the news, the Ghana Police authority asked Ghanaians to help Meek Mill search for his misplaced phone.
The Ghana Police Service issued a statement less than 24 hours after the rapper’s announcement, saying they had recovered his phone.
There were many rumors that the phone had been stolen and someone had been arrested.
Following this, the rapper took to his Twitter, requesting that if someone has been arrested, they must be released because he was not too sure whether or not his phone was indeed stolen or if he misplaced it.
“I culda dropped that phone on a dirt bike. I don’t actually know for a fact that somebody went in my pocket…I don’t need anybody locked up for a phone…I don’t even know what happened to it,” he wrote
Some Ghanaians took to social media to correct the negative narrative by some publications saying ‘as usual… to portray Africa negatively.
