Nana Akufo-Addo Host Breakfast Prayer Against COVID -19.
On Thursday, March 19, 2020, the president of Ghana Akufo-Addo, a group of Ghanaian head pastors to commit Ghana and the entire world into God’s hand, during this Coronavirus era.
Before the start of the prayer, president Akufo-Addo addressed the clergy concerning the vast spread of the virus, which he sees it as
“not an ordinary time” and that, the clergy should gather in prayers to curb the infections and fearful situation the Covi-19 pandemic is causing.

The prayer meeting, which was held at the Jubilee House in Accra, saw these key religious leaders including:
- Rev Eastwood Anaba of the Fountain Gate Chapel
- Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams of the Action Chapel International
- Bishop Dag Heward Mills of Light House Chapel
- Bishop Charles Agyin Asare of Perez Chapel International
- Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye of the Pentecost Church,
As well as clergies of the Anglican, Methodist and Catholic Churches among other renowned religious leaders, pray in turns for affected
people, health professionals nationwide working to find solution to the disease, the president and his workers.
Ghana among other prayer topics against the spread of the deadly virus.
President Nana Addo then urged all Ghanaians to continue with the precautionary measures and bear with the Government to fight the virus as well.
Ghana had recorded its 9th case on Thursday but unfortunately, Ghana woke up on Friday with a confirmation of 16 cases recorded.
