Nicki Minaj Is Featured On “Holy Ground” From Davido’s Album…

Multiple award winning and internationally recognized Nigerian super star Davido is all to drop his highly-anticipated album, a better time.

The artist on his official Instagram page notified music lovers and followers around the world the set date for the release of the album which is Friday November 13, 2020.

 

The album is power-packed with high quality international and local artists featured on several songs on the album.

Amongs the featured artists include American super talented female rapper, Nicki Minaj, Nigerian Afrobeat Songstress Tiwa Savage, Mayorkun, Mugeez, Chris Brown, Young Thug, Ckay, Lil Baby, Nas, Hitboy, Sho Majozi, Berla Shmurda and Sauti Sol.

 

Davido’s “A Better Time” album is loaded with 17 tracks and was inspired by the ups and downs the world has encountered this year and through it all he believes there’s going to be a better time.

Davido seems very excited about his effort on the album because despite the glitches caused by the coronavirus on especially the entertainment sector, he was able to work tirelessly this year amid Covid-19 on his project and finally everything is put in place for the release.

Nicki Minaj’s feature on the song “Holy Ground” was successful just through a DM. Davido in an interview said Nicki Minaj added her version to his song for free.

He said everything about the collaboration was unplanned because, he was drunk when he decided to slide into the DM of the rapper and just the next day, Nicki Minaj replied with her verse of the song.

The cover art of the album was released on Wednesday on the official social media handles of Davido ahead of the set date for the album release.

The lead track of the album is “FEM” which was the unofficial anthem for ENDSARS protests. Fans can’t wait to listen to the hitmaker’s upcoming album.
