Shocking! The shocking sudden death of 30 year old Nigerian footballer David Faramola Oniya today, June 13, 2015 on the pitch during a friendly match between his Malaysian club T-Team and Kelantan his has left his family, footballers and fans broken hearted!
Oniya defender and captain of his Malaysian club, T-Team is believed to have collapse 3 minutes into the match…
According to reports , Oniya allegedly did not receive medical treatment fast enough… the Club’s chief executive, Syahrizan Mohd Zain says they the driver that was taking him to the hospital was ‘driving too slow’ How sad!
Mr Syahrizan Mohd Zain also added that “He suffered a heart attack but it could have been a different story,” he told the New Straits Times. “Our defender was deprived of oxygen for several minutes.”: “He was pronounced dead at the hospital about 30 minutes later.”
