One Africa Music Fest: The World’s Biggest Afrobeats Festival In Europe!

One Africa Music Fest USA saw huge performances by Wizkid, Dbanj, Jidenna, Flavour and Seun Kuti, and was attended by US celebrities Swizz Beatz, DJ Ebro, Lil Mama,Angela Simmons and more. The event was also streamed live on Tidal and supported by Hot 97 radio.
The London extravaganza on 13th May, with the weight of Global Radio’s Capital Xtra, will be the first Afrobeats event of this magnitude in Europe. It will feature a line-up of Africa’s most renowned artists, such as Roc Nation’sTiwa Savage,Nigeria’s biggest pop duoP-Square, Sony Music’s Davido and fellow label-mate Tekno dubbed the ‘golden boy of Afrobeats’; Tanzanian superstar Alikiba and pan-African stars Awilo Longomba and Cassper Nyovest; and will be hosted by Nigerian Singer/Actor Banky W and Capital Xtras Abrantee Boateng as the official UK DJ.
One Africa Music Fest has rapidly become the seminal platform to showcase African music and culture to mainstream and diaspora audiences across the world.

Undoubtedly one of the biggest Afrobeats artists to come out of Nigeria, singer Davido accredits much of his success to the support he has received in London calling it his “second home”. From ‘Dami Duro’ and ‘Aye’, to ‘Skelewu’ and ‘Gobe’, his list of anthems speak for his thriving global career. Davido is currently signed to Sony and has previously toured the UK as well as selling out concerts all around the world.
Sensational R&B duo, Peter and Paul Okoye have been championing African music across the globe for many years. Renowned for their energetic stage performances, breathtaking choreography and simply good music, London awaits the timeless hits from the twin brothers who have worked with the likes of Akon, T.I and Rick Ross. Their last song ‘Nobody Ugly’ hit 1 millions views with a week on Youtube
Newly signed to Jay Z’ s Roc Nation label, ‘Africa’ s Beyoncé’ returns to the One Africa Music Fest stage. Not a stranger to her doting UK fan base, this will be a long-awaited return to London. The singer rose to stardom following her X Factor UK stint which saw her make it to the Judges Houses back in 2006.
Popularly referred to as ‘The Golden Boy of African Music’, became a fan favourite following the release of his first single ‘Holiday’ featuring Davido back in 2013. He later went on to release hit singles ‘ Dance’ , ‘ Duro’ , ‘ Wash’ as well as ‘ Pana’ which dominated the airwaves internationally last year, propelling his career to new heights. Ranked number one on MTV Base’ s Hottest Emcees list 2016 (South Africa), rapper Cassper Nyovest will be performing in the UK for the first time on the One Africa Music Fest stage. Having won numerous awards and sold out concerts in S.A, a freestyle on Tim Westwood Crib sessions in 2015 introduced him to a wider UK audience.
