History Maker! Meet Simone Manuel, the first African-American woman to ever win an individual Olympic swimming medal!

Simone Manuel touched the wall in 52.70 seconds, leading to her breaking the Olympic record! According to reports, US has not won the women’s 100m freestyle event the  since 1984. Nice one Simone!
