Samuel Inkoom began his career with Windy Professionals Football Academy, playing with them from 2000-2007. 2007 saw him transfer to Ghanaian PFA team Sekondi Hasaacas, spending a year there before transferring to Asante Kotoko in 2008.

The Swiss Super League was next and, on 26th April 2009, Inkoom transferred to FC Basel on a three‐year contract, making his debut in the derby game against FC St. Gallenon.

During his time there he remained a key player, playing an invaluable role in their golden season in 2010.

January of 2011 saw a move to fellow Swiss side FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, where he plied his trade for a year before a 6 month loan deal to SC Bastia.

The following season Inkoom again moved on six‐month loan, this time to Platanias. A short stay with D.C. United in 2014 was the precursor to his summer 2015 signing with Portuguese Boavista FC. On 6th January 2016, Inkoom signed a contract with Turkish‐side Antalyaspor.


The right back honed his skills as a member of the Black Satellites, playing with the team at the 2009 African Youth Championships in Rwanda, which they won, as well as with the Black Stars’ U‐20 squad in several tournaments, including Tunisia and the 2009 FIFA U‐20 World Cup.

Inkoom made his World Cup debut on 26 June 2010, starting on the right wing against the United States in a Last‐16 knockout game, with Ghana winning 2‐1 in extra time! In 2011 he played with a Black Stars team at AFCON in Gabon.

Apart from Fooball, Inkoom also gives back to the community in the form of charity, he has organised charity matches amongst other footballers and the proceeds used to help the less fortunate people in his hometown, Sekondi, Ghana. He has also been meeting and encouraging young  football fans…

Congrats! Ghanaian international professional footballer Samuel Inkoom completes move to Antalyaspor!  According to reports, the deal signed by the former Primeira Liga player is for two and a half years….

Famous retired Ghanaian footballer, Abedi Ayew Pele, who served as captain of the Ghana National Team was born on 5th november, 1964. He was professionally known as Abedi Pele.

During his young age,he played football barefooted for fun. He attended Dome Anglican Primary school where he also played for them.

As a young boy, he signed with a local club known as the Great Falcons to play for them. He moved on to play for other football clubs, Al Sadd, FC Mulhouse, Real Tamale United …

 As a teenager, Pele represented Ghana at the international level by playing for Ghana in the 1982 African Cup of Nations.

He has since represented Ghana at the international level until the late 1990’s when he retired from international football.

He was the captain of the Ghana National Football Team from 1992-1998, he holds the record for most appearances at the African Cup Of Nations.


He is one of the most respected African player,and has won honors and awards both in Africa and international.

 Abedi Pele is succeeded by four children, Ibrahim, Andre, Jordan and Imani Ayew. His three sons have also become professional footballers and are internationals for Ghana.

Ibrahim and Andre were selected for the 2010 Fifa world cup. Andre and Jordan also played at the 2014 Fifa world cup. Currently, Andre and Jordan are players for Ghana Black Stars.

Abedi Pele is married to Maha Ayew and he is the brother of Kwame and Sola Ayew, ex hearts of oak and Black meteors players.
