Beyoncé’s musical story began when she was nine years old, spending time with a group of friends dancing and singing their way into vocal competitions and performances at the rodeo, local clubs and concert venues in Houston, Texas.

The group of girls gradually morphed into Destiny’s Child, one of the most successful female recording groups of all-time. As a joint collective, Destiny’s Child amassed worldwide hits with both singles and albums. In 2001 Beyoncé became the first African-American woman and the second woman ever to take home the ASCAP Pop Songwriter of the Year Award for her work with the band…..

Lemonade, Beyoncé’s sixth album is very heart touching and raw with passion. The complex and amazing hour+ long video  portrays freedom,  forgiveness, victories, fears, fury, faith, happiness… We love this album very much because it has so many mystery to it, every clip tells a unique story. The album title Lemonade sums it all up sweet and bitter can also be icy… like crushed ice.

Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’ has everyone making their own interpretation,  is Lemonade   her life story?  who is Becky or is just another great masterpiece? Currently  streaming exclusively on Tidal. Lemonade, Beyoncé’s sixth album is very heart touching and emotional. Beyoncé can be heard whispering …“The past and the present merge to meet us here… What are you hiding?…. ‘Why can’t you see me? You are the love of my life.’ Every fear. What am I doing my love? Pull me in….”

I tried to make a home out of you but doors lead to trap doors, a stairway leads to nothing. Unknown women wander the hallways at night. Where do you go when you go quiet?

Beyonce also talks about trying to change by trying to  be softer, look tried prettier and even  ‘fasted for 60 days, wore white, abstained from mirrors, abstained from sex, slowly did not speak another word. In that time my hair, I grew past my ankles. I slept on a mat on the floor. I swallowed a sword. I levitated. Went to the basement, confessed my sins, and was baptized in a river. I got on my knees and said amen and said I mean.

She goes on to say …. are you cheating on me? Cheating? Are you cheating on me?…..Why can’t you see me? Why can’t you see me? Why can’t you see me? Everyone else can.

So, what are you gonna say at my funeral now that you’ve killed me? Here lies the body of love of my life, whose heart I broke without a gun to my head. Here lies the mother of my children, both living and dead….

Am I talking about your husband or your father?…..You’re the magician. Pull me back together again, the way you cut me in half. Make the woman in doubt disappear….

We love this album very much because it has so many mystery to it, every clip tells a unique story. The album title Lemonade  sums it all up sweet and bitter can also be icy… like crushed ice. Beyonce talks about, hurt, happiness, freedom,  forgiveness, victories, fears, fury, faith… sincere and honest feelings in such a way that most men and women can relate to… . the words are DEEP… RAW PASSION!.
