Ghanaian multiple award-winning and performing artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr famously known in showbiz circles as Shatta Wale bags home award at the just ended International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA).
The prestigious awards festival which took place on Sunday night, May 16 2021, saw the reggae and dancehall artist won the award for the “Best Virtual Entertainer of the year” category over selected contestants including; Agent Sasco, Beenie Man & Bounty Killer (Verzuz), Buju Banton and Capleton.
The program also featured world incredible and top-notch reggae and music entertainers like Ziggy Marley, Beenie Man, Gramps Morgan, Master KG, among several others of which Shatta Wale was the only African artiste to perform alongside the aforementioned Jamaican reggae superstars.
After several weeks of his absence on social media which sparked a lot of rumours about his health, the self-acclaimed dancehall king was captured on camera on Sunday night celebrating his success and praising the IRAWMA officials.
He also applauded his fellow colleagues, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy for their nominations.
His fans across the world also joined in his celebration in the comment section of his post. Two years ago, Shatta Wale grabbed two awards “Best Video of the Year” with his hit song “Gringo” and “Afro Beats Artist of the Year” at the 37th edition of IRAWMA which made the country so proud of him. The was awarded “Best Video of the Year” with his hit song “Gringo” and “Afro Beats Artist of the Year”.

New Music Alert! Dancehall superstar known by his stage name, Shatta Wale has teamed up with TV personality and actress Efia Odo to serve music lovers with amazing scenes for his song, “Bad Man” which was among his 13 tracklist album, “Wonder Boy” released in October 2019.
The artist gave a prior notice of when the music video featuring Efia Odo would be released by posting on his official social media handle, an excerpt from the entire music video which raised eyebrows due to the sensual scenes that was portrayed in the less than 30 seconds’ piece of the Bad Man music video.
The highly-anticipated music video was released yesterday, Friday, September 24 and it has received mixed reactions from fans around the world.
At the end of the visuals, it was gathered that the video was directed by PKMI visuals and was co-directed by Efia Odo herself. Production credit also goes to PAQ for this great project.
The video saw the dancehall king and the actress caressing each other depicting a romantic relationship between two lovers.
Shatta Wale who was doing the vocals expressed his unending love for his lover who happens to be Efia Odo in the music video.
He further promised to be by her side any time and any day and even die for their love, whilst Efia was seen in all the scenes with some lewd moves.
The two have been seen on camera several times which looked like they’re in a relationship. Although, their actions on social media has triggered a lot of questions about them being in an intimate relationship but they have come out clearly that they’re best friends.
Starring Efia Odo in the latest music video is not a surprise at all because the two feels good around each other looking at the videos of both put before the public eye.

“Already” is an excerpt from Beyoncé’s The Lion King; The Gift album which was released in July 2019. The album is a soundtrack curated by Beyoncé for the lion king remake in 2019.

Most thrilling and widely annual Ghanaian festival celebration in the UK dubbed Ghana party in the park has been called off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The announcement was officially made on various social media platforms by the event organisers Akwaaba Group.
This year’s edition of Ghana Party in the Park was scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Trent Park, London.
The 2020 edition will no longer take place, since the world is battling with the deadly virus and observing social distancing which is one of the ways to avoid the spread of the virus in order to keep everybody safe and healthy.
Akwaaba UK also expressed their deep regrets to the inconveniences the decision may have caused and assured the public.
They’re working greatly to bring to the public a better and bigger celebration of the Ghanaian arts and cultural festival for the next season in 2021.
Hence those who had bought their ticket already would be sorted out via emails.
