Tonto Dikeh Got The Self-Esteem She Craved Through Surgery
Tonto Charity Dikeh is a Nigerian prominent, singer, humanitarian and actress from the city of Port Harcourt, River State.
She began her acting career in 2006 and starred in over 100 Nollywood movies within 13 years of tough work.
The beautiful light-skinned diva recently signed an endorsement deal worth 100 million Naira (US$275,000) with Zikel Cosmetics as the first Nigerian to celebrity to earn that much for being the face of a make-up product in Africa.
This was enough for her to shut off many critics complaining about getting surgery.
Born in Port Harcourt into a family of seven, Dikeh, 33, is the third of five children. She was raised by her step-mother following the demise of her biological mother when she was barely 3.

Dikeh’s interest in becoming a superstar can be traced to her extracurricular activities while in secondary school. However, she wasn’t convinced enough to study courses related to her career.
She instead studied petrochemical engineering at the prestigious River State University of Technology, Port Harcourt. In 2006, Tonto Dikeh participated and eventually won the reality show titled Next Movie Star.
This was enough to welcome the beautiful woman into the Entertainment industry, and she immediately featured in Dirty Secret.
Before the end of the year, Dikeh had her name registered in the hearts of many with her remarkable role in the movie titled, Holy Cross.
The film brought unimaginable fame to Dikeh and branded her one of the most sought-after in the Nollywood.
The insatiable movie star refused to stop at acting. She has more than acting under her sleeves as she’s undoubtedly a talented singer as well.
She sent a message to the music industry with her singles “Hi,” and “Itz Ova” in 2014, songs many initially thought will not be recognized.
Itz Ova garnered nationwide recognition and caught the attention of a Nigerian veteran singer and producer, D’banj. She eventually signed for D’banj’s DB records on the 13th of June, 2014 although short-lived.
Dikeh got married to Oladunni Churchill in 2015, and they both welcomed their first child, Andre Omodayo Churchill in February 2016.

Unfortunately for the resourceful woman, their relationship soon hit the rock, and the couple officially divorced.
Dikeh had her first plastic surgery in the hands of a graduate of the prestigious University of Lagos who currently works at Grandville Medical, Lekki.
She expressed her reasons for going for the surgery, stating that she hated her physique before the surgery and felt shameful of the body she had.
However, following the successful surgery, she claimed to love everything about herself. She can now stand the sight of her physique and be happy, staring at herself in the mirror.
She confessed her reason wasn’t born out of an attempt to get a role, a relationship, or a job but to improve on her self-esteem.
Dikeh worked on her butt is now a curvy, significant layer that will make a man glue his eyes on her.
Sure, she has the figure 8 every man desires; however, she’d be going on another section to work on her breast. Dikeh is enjoying the fruit of her labor as we all know that plastic surgery isn’t a game for the poor…
